About the Activity

Get ready for an unforgettable stargazing adventure in the Andaman Islands! With some of the clearest skies in India, you’ll be treated to a celestial show like no other. Whether you’re an experienced stargazer or just curious about the cosmos, the 90-minute session will transport you into a world of stars, planets, and constellations. This experience in Port Blair away from city lights and noise is about more than just looking at the stars.

Have you ever wondered why some stars shine steadily while others twinkle? Or how the moon moves across the sky?

The Andaman sky offers a unique view, sitting near the equator, where you can catch glimpses of constellations from both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Imagine spotting the mighty Orion or the Southern Cross views you can’t easily find anywhere else! Along with the beauty of the night sky, you’ll learn how to identify constellations, track planets, and dive into the fascinating myths and stories inspired by the stars. You’ll leave with a whole new appreciation for the universe.
